I am going to try and make this iPhone picture post more a of a regular thing...since I do use my phone the majority of the time for taking pictures. These pictures are all just from this past week! I take ALOT of pictures with my phone :)

15 Months
Tucker turned 15 months on the 18th of this month...I held off on this post, since I knew he was going in for his checkup today at the doctor.
Weight= 25 lbs. which puts him in the 60th percentile for weight.
Height= 32.25 inches which puts him in the 80th percentile for height.
Head Circ.= 19 3/4 inches which puts him in the 90th percentile for head size...no surprise there, he has always been at the top of this percentile since he arrived. That head is housing a Big brain! ;)
Vocabulary: His vocabulary is growing every day! Favorite words right now include:
Mama
Dada
Hey or Hi
Bye Bye
Tucker
Doggie
Bubble
Choo choo-this one is definitely his favorite word right now. He says it ALL the time! Everything is a choo choo currently...18 wheelers, vans, bulldozers, buses, really any sort of large automobile or heavy machinery with wheels is a Choo choo! It is hilarious! In all fairness though, they do resemble each other, right? Large, boxed shape, pieces of machinery, all with wheels..I can see how it could be confusing! I know he will soon learn the differences between them all, but for now the excitement he has about seeing all these different kinds of choo choo's is priceless!
Eating habits: Still a Great eater! Dustin and I both realize how Blessed we are when it comes to Tucker's eating style. There is not much food the boy doesn't enjoy. And let's just say those things he doesn't enjoy are the more unhealthy options...crazy right? He definitely did not get his mama's sweet tooth! Of course when I indulge I want to share with him and he wants no part in it! He loves ALL vegetables. Likes most fruit...although melons are just not his thing. Raspberries are by far his favorite! He could eat an entire container in one sitting! Will eat most meat that is offered to him. Chicken and Shrimp seem to be his favorites...and when we splurge he really enjoys hot dogs with no buns. His diet mainly consists of vegetables, fruits, beans, with some meat and the occasional pasta or potato. Definitely clean eating :)
Favorite snacks: popcorn, cheerios, Annie's cheddar bunnies, raspberries, blueberries, peaches
Sleep: Again, we have been blessed with an Awesome sleeper which we are SO thankful for. I think sleep plays a huge part in why he is so happy. He is well rested and you can tell for sure! We are still doing 2 naps during the day. (except when he is at school 2 days a week, then it's just 1 long afternoon nap) He plays hard and definitely is ready for his naps when it is time! Morning nap is usually from about 9:30-11 and then afternoon is usually from 2-3:30.
Bedtime is still fairly early around our house, only because the schedule works for us and Tucker is always ready for bed at night. He usually goes down around 7P and sleeps through the night until 7-7:30 AM. On school mornings, I usually have to wake him up! Can you believe that?! We are all well rested around here and it is Amazing! :)
Play: He is still really enjoying music and dancing! He loves dancing to the group "Need to Breathe" in the mornings. Not into TV at all right now...the Only thing he will watch at all is Barney and that is not very often. Very much into discovery and figuring new things out, which explains his new interest in puzzles. Still loves being outside and would walk around our yard all day if we would let him collecting sticks. Also, loves books! He will sit in his room by himself and flip through/read books. Again, with the choo choos...he likes pushing trains, trucks, and cars around and saying "choo choo" over and over. It's adorable!
I cannot believe he is 15 months already! Time is flying by and we are having SO much fun with him! We play all day long and there is never a dull moment in our house now. It is so much fun seeing him learn, discover, and explore. His personality is so special too. Loving, gentle, full of energy, curious, happy, and just a joy to be around. We are loving watching him evolve into this little person full of his own personality! We are so blessed and I thank God every day for giving us our precious Tucker boy!

School Days...
Summer is ending and a new school year is starting already. Tucker had his first day in his new class for this year on Tuesday! His school closes for a week in August for staff training and then all the kids move up in their classes when they return from the week break. The school/daycare he attends is very official and well organized and we Love it! We attended orientation a few weeks ago and we went to meet his new teachers, toured his new classroom, and went through all the objectives/curriculum with all of the other parents and Tucker's school friends.
We learned that in his new class, there would be no more cribs and that he would be sleeping on a cot with his very own nap mat...I cannot believe our baby is old enough to be sleeping on a nap mat! The teacher also explained that Tucker would be learning a lot more independence this year and even push his own chair to circle time each day! What?! He doesn't need to learn to be independent, that's what I am here for, right?! :) Kidding, but it just another reminder that our little one is growing up Way too quickly!
Of course, it is taking Tucker a little time getting used to another new class and new teachers...mainly during morning drop off time, which makes the start of our day a little sad. Just another transition time which will soon pass and by the time I am down the hall he is playing with his friends and happy as can be! It will be great to see all the new things he learns this year!

We sent bags of "Lucky Charms" to his new classmates on the first day!
And there he is, our Tucker boy all ready for his first day in his new classroom...I LOVE him :)

Fourth of July 2012
For America's birthday we headed down South again to Florida. Any chance we get to go down to the beach we take it! Thankfully, since Dustin's job requires him to be there a lot we get the chance quite often! We combined his work with a little holiday vacation for the Fourth. So far...Tucker has spent every fourth of July of his life at the beach...this year being the second one :) I hope we can make it a yearly tradition for Tucker!
We spent the Fourth and most of our time there with my Best friend from Florida, Alex and her little one, Lennon. Our plan was to get the boys all dressed in their matching outfits and have a little photo session on the beach before dinner. Let's just say that a photo session with a 13.5 month old and a 5 year old made for quite the challenge ;) Dustin still got some great shots though and we had lots of fun running around chasing these guys around on the beach!
How cute are those outfits made by "Holli Sews Cute Boutique"?! I love them!
We had a wonderful Fourth of July at the beach...filled with fun times with dear friends and family! I am always so happy for the time we get to spend at the beach.
And of course, since Dustin was behind the camera we didn't get any family shots this year :( I guess that's what I get for Dustin being such a good photographer!
I am thankful for this shot Dustin got...I will definitely treasure this one forever! Even though we are in different states now I am blessed to have Alex as a best friend.
I did take some with my iPhone too...
Tucker and Daddy having fun on the night of the 4th in Seacreast
And lastly...some comparisons from last year to this year!
4th of July last year and this year...look at the difference in ONE year!
As if I needed another realization of just how quickly time passes! I am doing my Best to savor each and every tiny moment...because every day I realize just how fast our Tucker boy is growing! We definitely treasure every day as a family of 3 and are so thankful for all of our blessings! Hope everyone had a great Fourth of July!

Tucker's first Haircut
We took Tucker for his first haircut this past weekend. I put this off for awhile...and then Tucker's hair was so long I couldn't even get it to stay parted over to one side anymore. His hair looked shaggy, which is a great look too, but we just felt it was time. I didn't really know how he was going to react to this new adventure, but like everything else so far he did great and was so patient!
A lollipop helped out too!
He just enjoyed his lollipop, maybe even 2 or 3 and held mama's hand :)
We took him to an old-fashioned barber shop close by in Mountain Brook Village...
Mark, the barber, was awesome and was so sweet to Tucker!
Trying so hard to be still...
He did so great!
Look at our little BOY...not the tiny baby we brought home just 13 months ago! Sigh...
Proud daddy and mama with Tucker boy and his new haircut :)
And there he is! So big and proud...I think I might go cry now, because he is growing up Too fast!
So there we have it and once again, I'm so glad we were able to document another first for Tucker! Sorry for the picture overload...but like I said in the beginning I am using this as a sort of online scrapbook! I still can't believe our baby is old enough for his first haircut, but he looks SO adorable! :)
